夏に利用する薪ボイラーのレポート

薪ボイラーを使うようになって初めての夏を経験しているのです

冬場から使い始めたので色んな点で予想とは違う部分があったのが

この季節頭から消し飛んだ感じです

冬場は毎日ボイラーを使うわけですね

ですから薪の確保が不可欠

燃やすものが無いわけじゃあないんです

問題なのはその質でした

よく乾燥した広葉樹の目の詰まった薪なんて当然ないわけです

 

良くて建築資材、ダンボール、拾ってきた木切れ等

（準備なんてしていませんでしたからね）

それを燃やすんだけどボイラーの温度を８０℃以上まで上げるとなると

結構燃やす必要があります

木が湿っていると水分を飛ばすためにエネルギーを使うので、肝心の水温は

なかなか上がらないんです

 

それが夏はどうでしょう

まず、我が家には太陽熱温水器もあるので、これが結構働いてくれて

いるので薪ボイラーはあまり出番がありません

雨の日はさすがにボイラーの力を借ります

冬場とは全く違いますね

最初に紙類で火をつけて、木切れを放り込む

後は薪の１本も入れておけばもうノータッチ

 

冬と何が違うのかといいますと

１、木が乾燥している（冬から寝かしているため）

２、水道の水温が高い

３、使用する湯温が低くても大丈夫

４、一度沸かしたものが冷めにくい（熱損失が少ない）

特に燃やすものが乾燥しているのが重要ですね

今年の冬が楽しみでもあるのです
