最近の住宅は和室が減ってきました
設計する側としてもその使い方を考えると
どうするべきか迷うこともしばしば
新婚の時は然程必要としないもんです
しかし、子供が生まれると途端に必要になってきます
畳の部屋は小さい子供には便利です
障子も破って大きくなるのがいいかも
畳でゴロンと寝転がり、冬はコタツに潜り込み
夏はひんやりお昼寝をする
あぁ～日本人でよかった を実感する時です
年を重ねると畳が暮らしやすくなりますが、年を取りすぎると
ベッドの方が過ごしやすくなるのも事実
とは言え畳替えをして、新しい青い畳に寝転がるのは格別
特に中国産ではなく日本産のい草の畳は本当に気持ちがいいです
縁も気分を変えるにはガラッと変えるのが良いですね
表替えはい草を丸ごと取り替えちゃいます
裏返しは現在使っている畳表を裏返して使います
ですから、古くなりすぎたら裏返しは出来ないわけです
使えるうちに裏返しをすれば、畳は長持ちするそうです
