太宰府天満宮の参道から少し入った場所に「定遠館」という
記念館が人知れず建っています
記念館とは言え誰も見学者の姿は見えません
日清戦争で使われた清国の戦艦の部品が使われているそうです
リユースなのかな
門扉には鋼板を切り取って観音開きにしてあります
日本軍から受けたのでしょうか被弾の跡が
生々しく残っています
戦艦の部品を家に使うのですから限られてきますが、
分かりやすかったのはボートのオールが縁側の下の貫として
使ってありました
120年も前には戦さの道具
そして住宅の建材として使われ、
今では記念館として楽しませてくれる
何とその利用価値の高いこと…
